VSO Bahaginan is a premier development organization in the Philippines committed to fighting global poverty by engaging volunteers and institutional partners into a wide range of volunteer programs and development initiatives.

International volunteering
We engage Filipino professionals to contribute to global development. The program recruits volunteers with professional qualifications and experience from a range of disciplines from everywhere in the Philippines and in other parts of Southeast Asia to live and work alongside local communities overseas, sharing skills and changing lives.
Development programs
VSO Bahaginan is also managing development programs in the Philippines in the area of secure livelihoods and environment with our Model Forest Program in Carood, Bohol and Ulot, Eastern Samar. We are also building the capacities of partner organizations working on peace-building in Mindanao.
Volunteer management hub
VSO Bahaginan runs a Certificate Course in Volunteer Program Development and Management, designed to assist and develop skills of development managers and practitioners in initiating or effectively managing volunteer programs. We also provide a shorter course on Basic Volunteer Management System as well as other tailor-fitted training programs.
Youth exchanges and corporate partnerships
VSO Bahaginan is also actively pursuing partnerships with businesses aimed at encouraging employees to get involved in volunteering through Business Partnerships with corporations. It also implements youth volunteering through the Global Xchange Programme in partnership with the British Council in the Philippines.
